Postwire Closes Q1 with More Than 100 Percent Increase in Users Over Q4 2012

Company Adds Staff, Moves to Larger Office Space to Support Product Traction and Rapid Growth

Postwire, which empowers business and healthcare professionals to capture, organize, and share content in a highly visual and personal way, today announced that it has wrapped up Q1 with significant growth. The company more than doubled its registered users and grew its paid user base by 107 percent, representing a 38 percent increase in revenue from the end of Q4 2012 to the end of Q1. Postwire also more than doubled its monthly active users in Q1 of this year from Q4 2012.

To support its continued growth, the company hired Shawn LaVana as vice president of marketing. LaVana brings more than 13 years of experience in startup marketing to his role at Postwire. Previously, he was vice president of marketing at ShapeUp, a healthcare software company in Providence, Rhode Island. Postwire is also looking to hire additional developers to ensure its software continues to meet the evolving needs of its expanding user base.

The growth of the company also required a move from Waltham, Mass. to larger office space in Q1. Postwire’s new location is 1666 Massachusetts Ave., Suite P18, Lexington, MA 02420.
